Come back to 1912 in
Brooklyn New York – Minnie was born into a poor family. At the age of nine, she
had to quit school to work at a bakery, never imagining that her job would
influence her daughter years later. But as Minnie baked specially ordered
cheesecakes, young Hope began to love creating delicious foods too. In 1989,
this love grew into Hope’s first business, which she opened
in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Hope and her partners sold the flourishing business in
1993, but Hope’s dreams of her own business continued – dreams that would honor
Minnie. In 2001 Minnie passed away but she lives on in Hope’s heart and Hope’s
new business, Minnie’s Cheesecakes. Remember Minnie as you enjoy.
